ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Mary Alice Archer

     Mary Alice Archer is an award-winning author and illustrator of If a Cat and The Christmas Gift: A Mia and Co. Adventure. She and her husband John love creating fun puppets, songs, stories, and read along videos with their grandchildren on their YouTube channel, “Bo Bo Fun!” 
     Mary Alice enjoys teaching and has been in education for over forty years. For the last twenty-five years, she has taught middle schoolers Math, English, History, French, Art, Drama, and Science. She has a B.S. in Exceptional Education from the University of Central Florida. 
    A Southern California girl for the first forty years of her life, Mary Alice and her family moved to Central Florida in a moment of brilliance. She and her husband John have three children and six grandchildren, two dogs, a lovebird, and a Hermann’s tortoise named Melville.
